We just got in some “Roman Glass” from the middle East. This ancient glass may be over 2000 years old, the jewellery is made from broken shards, that have a lovely iridescent patina of age. It gives me the shivers holding something that old, wondering about the craftsman who made it.
Sharon Wadsworth Smith has painted the town, well specifically the Bluebird Cafe. What a warm and cozy feeling she has created. Her rich colour and deft brushstrokes adds weight to the still life paintings of wine and cheese or toast and coffee.
